Try it under supervision
Listen to the safety briefing and shoot under a range officer's direction. Ask the club what ID and clothing to bring.
Ask about membership and licensing
The club that runs each range explains its own probationary process. Requirements differ by state; check with the club and your state firearms registry.

Every fact shows where it came from and when we checked it.
Range details change: new session times, closures for works, a different contact. So each detail carries its source and a last-checked date, and anyone can tell us when something's out of date.
